Thank you Christina Wehry for your fabulous instruction. For those that have not tried out the yoga program, I would highly recommend it. I have thoroughly enjoyed the yoga program, it has really helped in rehab and stretching out over worked muscles, I’m revisiting the programs this week after the 12 mile ruck. I followed the links to the YouTube videos, and I found all the instruction extremely helpful, I’ve done yoga before but I learnt a lot. I’m looking next to the next round.
Huge shout out to Christina Wehry for the HDT yoga! I’ve never done yoga before or had much interest in trying it, and was probably even dismissive of it. I finally decided to try it as an add on with XXI after a lot of hyping from Bryan Singelyn, but never any pressure to do it. I literally thought to myself when I signed up that I’ll only be out $28 if I never even try it. Well here I am at the end of XXI as a 100% yoga finisher after doing 18 flows in 6 weeks. Christina does videos for each flow that are easy to follow and she’s as accessible as Bryan for questions. I can’t quantify my yoga progress with an increase in reps or weight, but I’m quite certain it has helped me. Check it out, even if you’re skeptical...plus you get Zen Master badges in Garmin Connect even if you’re as flexible as me. Ask me how I know.
I’ve been practicing yoga for five plus years and thought I “knew it all” but Christina’s program has really delivered results and has improved my practice immensely. She really takes the time to understand the core movements of each HDT exercise and uniquely tailors our weekly practice to address trouble spots. I consider it an indispensable aspect of my recovery and training program.
